Do I need headphones?
Yes. Binaural beats require stereo headphones to work. Each ear receives a slightly different frequency, and your brain perceives the difference as a rhythmic beat. Without headphones, the effect cannot occur. Any stereo headphones or earbuds will work.
Does FlowLock work offline?
Yes. FlowLock works completely offline. All audio is generated in real time on your device. No internet connection is required or used at any point. You can use it on a plane, in the woods, or anywhere.
Is this a subscription?
No. FlowLock is a one-time purchase of $7.99. You pay once and own the full app forever. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no upsells.
Troubleshooting
If something does not seem right, try these steps:
- 1 Restart the app. Close FlowLock completely and reopen it. This resolves most issues with audio playback or interface glitches.
- 2 Check your headphones. Make sure your headphones or earbuds are properly connected. If using Bluetooth, ensure they are paired and selected as the audio output device.
- 3 Check the volume. Ensure your device volume is turned up and not muted. Also check that the in-app volume sliders are not set to zero.
- 4 Restart your device. If the above steps do not help, restart your phone or tablet and try again.
